Seattle, Ferry & Vashon

01 July 2015

On our second full day in Seattle we had a mini excursion to a local island named Vashon. We rode a ferry over from the mainland (did you know I love boats and water?) and enjoy a few different experiences. We started the trip with a hike down a mountain to a beach, then headed to a coffee shop. After that we stopped by a beach park before making our way to the lighthouse where we also had a view of Mt. Rainier. It was also my first time in the Pacific Ocean and it honestly felt pretty similar to temperatures in North Carolina. We headed back across on the ferry again for the day and relaxed at home for a little bit. Once we ate dinner we headed across the street to watch the sunset for thirty minutes or so.
